Born in Stuttgart, to a German mother and an American father.
His musical career began at the age of 13 in a school band called "Spitfire".
He recorded his first album at 16 with "Nirvana Pancake".
He got his first recording contract at 19 with the German Italian band "Sphinx".
In 1981 he moved to Hannover and joined the band "Fargo".
In 1983 he and the bass player of "Fargo" formed "Victory",
which resulted in 500.000 album sales worldwide.
As time progressed he realized his love of music production.
He began with bands such as "Steeler", "Ayers Rock", etc...
His big breakthrough as a producer came in 1987 with the legendary rock album
"Helloween- Keeper of the seven keys Pt. I", which
sold 1.5 million albums worldwide, and in 1998 with
"Helloween- Keeper of the seven keys Pt. II", which sold 1.8 million.
In the early 90`s Tommy spent most of his time producing in the U.S.A.,
and on returning opened his own studio "Stairway to Heaven"
in Hannover, where he stayed until 1997 when he opened his new studio "Area 51 Recording Studios"
